All orders typically ship in 24 hours sometime much less. In fact most orders placed by 10pm central will ship the following morning. Tracking is provided via email. Any delays in shipment will be communicated promptly.


Because of the personal attention we strive for with each customer, we may contact you to ask questions or to give you information on your purchase. This will always take the form of an email first, unless prior communication via pm, text, or other is already established. Some examples would include

A discrepancy in the order such as two different samples sizes of same fragrance

An unexpected backorder of product

An offer/choice of free products

An offer to send a split/decant order in original bottle

A request for address clarification

A quick thank you note


Return policy 

Sample Orders
All sales of samples are final, as they are prepared by hand for each customer. However if an error has been made of course it will be corrected promptly!

Vintage Perfume

Because of the nature of perfume that has aged, and unknown customer expectations of smell we can not accept returns of any vintage perfume. All vintage perfume has been verified by staff/independent experts and typically is compared to other known exemplary examples before listing. We are very picky about vintage bottles we sell, and typically we will note an estimate of top note loss in description if applicable. Please inquire about a sample if you don’t see it listed!

Retail Products
New retail products can be returned for a refund up to 14 days after delivery. Shipping costs must be paid by the customer. In order to receive a full refund, the item must be unused and in its original packaging. Please email returns@finescents.net to get return authorization and approval. If desired we can send a return shipping label to be deducted from the refund amount, we want to make everything including returns as easy as possible.  We recommend that you return the item carefully so it is not damaged upon its return. If an item is used or damaged we can only offer a 50% refund. Refunds will be sent promptly within 24 hours of return delivery confirmation, keep in mind it typically takes 2-5 days to post to your account.
